Fishing on the Yankee
The Yankee (a Harwich Port tradition) leaves from Saquatucket Harbor with up to 60 passengers for fishing grounds within
ten miles of Harwichport. The Yankee provides a half day of fishing fun for the whole family.
The $28 fare includes rod, reel, and bait. Trips leave daily at 8 am and 12:30 pm, and
Sundays 10-2 pm. Call 508-432-2520 for information and reservations or stop by the Yankee booth (located on the north border of the west Saquatucket parking area) with your bottom fishing questions like "What are you catching? Are the bluefish (codfish, sea bass, scup. tautog, stripers) running? What time does the 8 AM trip leave? Can I use my own pole? Can I get something to drink? Is Clem still captain? CAPT'N KID's Party Fishing for the young
Party Fishing for the young and young at heart in the 'Heart of the Sea', Argh Matie, talk like a Pirate! An exciting, shortened fishing trip for kid's and their parents onboard Saquatucket Harbors latest addition the CAPT'N KID. For many children this 2 hour fishing trip may be their first opportunity to wet a line and catch the big one... and of course either Mom, Dad, Aunt Betty or Gram, needs to be there... to get that photo! Parking available across the street.
