cloudy & very cold & a
Snowy morning I & Eli
sha have been over to Win
sted it commenced to
Snow about 10 O clock &
it is a very blustering
stormy day Mr Mitchel
was killed in Thayers
Sythe Shop by the bursting
of a Grind Stone to day

SUNDAY 26 N West
cloudy & quite cold windy
in the Morning the Snow
is about 6 inches deep
this Morning & it has Sn
owed most all day but
it melts very fast
Mrs Tiffany died this
Morning about nine O
Clock

MONDAY 27 N West
cloudy & quite a warm
Morning I have been down
to the mill with a load
of logs on the sled & down
in the Hollow this Afternoon
after some Brandy it is very
mudy & nasty walking
the Snow is going of very
fast Calvin been down to
