Morning I have been up to

crackers it is quite warm
& pleasant this afternoon
Uncle Chester been here to
day to bring down some
beef Calvin been over to
Mr Shepard this Evening

THURSDAY 19 S East
cloudy & not very cold in
the Morning I have been over
in the lot choping wood
part of the day it snowed
a little first of night it
began to rain in the evening
it froze as it come Mr Talmadge
been over after the saw
one of Mr Feleys men broke
his leg to day a tree fell
on it

FRIDAY 20 S West
cloudy & very warm westerly
I have been down in the
Hollow to day Father
been chopping wood Annie
& Calvin been down to
Mr Tuttle this Afternoon
Mr Benjamin Giddings
of East Hartford died
this Morning
