TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1874
cloudy & cold it is
snowing very hard & it is
a cold blustering Morning
William & Calvin been here
this afternoon it has stopped
snowing & is quite pleasant
this Evening Nelson been
up here to stay all night
we have killed the chickens
to day snow 6 inches deep

WEDNESDAY 4 N West
clear & quite cold the
wind blowes & the snow
is all blowing into drifts
it is very blustering & unp
leasant Morning Father
been up to Uncle Chester
after some Buttermilk
I have drawed one load
of wood Willy been here to
day Nelson here again to
night

THURSDAY 5 N West
clear & quite cold in the
Morning the wind begins
to blow about noon very
hard & the snow flies
& it is very blustering
I have been drawing
wood this afternoon the
wind blows very hard this
afternoon Nelson here
again to night more
