clear & another very
warm morning I &
Calvin been down in
the Hollow to carry some
Butter another very
hard Thunder Shower
just at night it struck
a tree up in Sarahs
lot it thundered very
hard & rained

WEDNESDAY 10 N West
cloudy & quite a cool
morning but it is a very
wett time we have begun
to hoe the corn this afte
rnooon Mr Collins &
Wife called here today
it has been quite a cool
day Mr Hodge of Hartford
was killed by lightening
yesterday

THURSDAY 11 S East
cloudy & quite a cool
morning we have been
hoeing corn this foren
oon it begun to rain
about noon I have
been down in the
Hollow this Afternoon
after the money for
the Butter
