FRIDAY, MAY 1, 1874
clear & quite warm &
pleasant in the Morning
we have been Shearing
Shingles part of the day
It is a very backward
Spring & there is a great
deal of Snow on the ground
Father been up to Uncle
Chester today William
been here this Evening

SATURDAY 2 N West
cloudy & cold it is
very cold weather for the
season & have been down
in the Hollow after some
sugar Father been up to
Mr Rose Mr Reynolds &
up to AB Tiffany to day
Elisha been down to the
valley to carry Mr Bid
well home.

SUNDAY 3 N West
clear quite cool but
rather a pleasant morn
ing we have had all of
Gods creation here all day
I think it is best for them
to stay at home a Sunday
