TUESDAY, MAY 19, 1874 N West
clear & quite a cool
hot pleasant morning
we have been drawing off
manure this fore noon &
plowing this afternoon
it rained a little to day
it has been quite cool all day
I am not feeling very
well but I have to work

WEDNESDAY 20 S East
clear & nice warm
pleasant morning I
have been plowing most
the day Father been up
to Uncle Chesters to seed
some Oats & been down
in the Hollow after
some flour it begun
to rain this afternoon

THURSDAY 21 S East
cloudy & a wett rainy
warm morning it has
rained most all day
Thunder showers this
afternoon quite a hard
one I have been down
in the Hollow George
Carter been here after
a pig Chaunsey Talmadge
& Uncle Chester been
here
