cloudy & quite a cool
Morning but it is very
pleasant weather we
have been putting up
a scafolding to shingle
the Barn Elisha gone
to Winsted I have been
down in the Hollow

clear & cool again
this Morning we
begun to shingle the
Barn to day it is a
very warm this Af

Fanny been here this

WEDNESDAY 9 N East
clear & a very warm
day it is getting to
be very dry weather
we have been Shingling
to day Father been
down in the Hollow
after some nails a
tin peddlar called
here to day
